I would like to thank you so much for all the time and effort you put in to our sessions and behind the scenes over the last few months. I really do feel that you have allowed me to gain far greater understanding of my situation as a whole. I feel I am able to look at my situation more kindly and with more awareness of the cognitive errors and biases I may be making. I feel stronger in myself and more able to cope at work as evidenced by my return to on calls shifts. In addition I feel I have a plan in place for when things take a turn for the worst, and also knowing you are there is incredibly reassuring for me.
In addition to all the structured CBT work we did together on anxiety, I would like to thank you very much for being so kind and empathic when I arrived with other unexpected worries such as my friend’s news. I actually felt very relieved and thankful that I was attending a session at that time even though I know it completely diverted the focus of the session.
I just want to say that you have such a wonderful manner with people. You are able to build trust quickly and create a lovely and safe environment to work in which is so important. You are completely professional at all times but yet still maintain your human side and remain in touch. You are always empathic during the sessions and it is clear that this is completely genuine. I can see how passionate you are about your work and how invested you are in your patients and their wellbeing. I cannot emphasise enough what an incredible gift this is for your patients.
I would like to thank you once again for all your help, I really enjoyed my sessions but above all they have been invaluable in helping my progress.
